Christmas Tree Lighting

From the desk of Sandy Brackett ,  Grange Lecturer

The  lighting of the Grange town hall Christmas tree will hold special meaning and purpose this year. After many years of cutting down, hauling, and erecting a tree for all of us to enjoy annually, we have given Richard Bronson and his crew much needed rest! The Mount Hope Grange will dedicate the below pictured living tree, which was planted in October, to one of our beloved Grange members who is no longer with us on this earth, John Poland.

This beautiful tree came from Ray Lobdell’s tree farm, then pulled and placed perfectly by Cavanaugh & Son, and memorialized by John’s wife, Rita Poland and the Grange members. It takes a village and we had one! May there be many, many years of life, beauty, and community members gathering with this special tree. Please join us for the lighting of this year’s tree on;

Sunday December 16th at 5:30pm. Cookies and coffee will be served!
