ACT Spring Events Start with Birds on the Brain

Spring! It means lots of things depending on who you ask – but to bird lovers – it unquestionably means the return of a great many feathered friends. As both gardening, landscaping, and birding seasons creep closer, the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust (ACT) is calling all bird lovers!

Join us online on Thursday, April 29th from 6 to 7 pm for a fun evening of learning about creating bird diversity through habitat building with one of our favorite presenters, UNH Cooperative Extension’s Matt Tarr!

Are you a bird enthusiast looking to change your landscape? Or a bird lover hoping to find the right place to look? Log in from the comfort of your couch to ask questions and find out more about how different habitats impact what birds are attracted to that place. Matt will give an overview of the different birds found across various habitats. Discover why specific bird species occur in each habitat and learn approaches for maintaining a variety of habitats to support common and uncommon bird species in your landscape.

Advanced registration is required to get log-in info – space is limited. Please register on the web at act-nh.org/education-events or call the office at (603) 823-7777.

The Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust inspires and leads private, voluntary action to conserve land the North Country loves. Learn more and become a member at act-nh.org or by calling the office.
