Learning Focus:

Kindergarten has been working on the letter R this week and the nursery rhyme “Baa Baa Black Sheep.” In math, they sorted, counted, compared, and graphed pattern blocks by shape. First graders solved an open response problem about representing a number story and counted up and back on the number line to prepare for using it as a tool for adding and subtracting. Second Grade generated fact families using related numbers on Fact Triangles. Third Grade used partial-sums addition to add 2‐ and 3 digit numbers.
