The Landaff and Lisbon Fire Departments conducted a training exercise on Sunday May 22.  The two departments burned the Blanchette house at the corner of Mill Brook and Center Hill Road.  The structure was donated for training by the property’s new owner.

The burn provided exposure to new firefighters and skill development for experienced ones, including establishment of water supply, attack strategies, hose placement, and protecting adjacent structures.  Landaff’s “new” engine performed flawlessly throughout the exercise.
