Blue School artist have their art on display at the Landaff Town Hall

Learning Focus:

This week, kindergarten learned about the letter A and reading the nursery rhyme Itsy Bitsy Spider. In math, kindergarten worked to recognize numbers 10 through 19 and used pattern blocks in different ways to make a hexagon. First graders developed strategies for finding combinations of 10 to help them add and subtract within 20. Second Grade used place-value and expanded form to compare 3-digit numbers. Third Grade identified and measured perimeters of rectangles and other polygons and distinguished between perimeter and area.
