Learning Focus:
Kindergarten has been working on the letter K this week and the Nursery rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock. In math, kindergarten described and drew shapes found in pictures. First graders used tools, strategies, and properties of operations to solve a number of stories with two or three addends. Second Grade completed an open response problem by solving an addition problem using two different strategies then they discussed selected strategies. Third Grade used square products as helper facts to find products of near squares.
