Kindergarten focused on the letter M this week and practicing their songs for our performance. In math, kindergarten classified and sorted attribute blocks by shape and size and then counted and compared the blocks in each group. They also explored, recognized, and described shapes and their attributes by touch. First graders collected data and displayed it on a tally chart. They created shapes with specified attributes on geoboards and they built with and counted base-10 blocks. Second Grade used place-value and expanded form to compare 3-digit numbers. Third Grade used all four operations to generate equivalent names for numbers.
