Landaff School Advisory Committee Minutes
June 24, 2025
Landaff Town Hall

Present: Brenda Dodge, John Barth, Mary Beaudin, Jamie Jarvis,
Deb Erb, Francie Kinney, Joe Wiggett

Public:  Ben Peters, Travis Peters, Lloyd Donnellan, Toni Butterfield

Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm.

Minutes of the June 3, 2025 meeting were approved.
Minutes of the June 17, 2025 meeting were approved.

Public input: none

Old business:
Figure out how to decide Blue School expenses vs. non Blue School expenses.

It was decided to go through the budget line by line and have group consensus about District vs. Blue School expenses and also a separate grouping for the pre-school.

Each expense was also categorized as:
1. Salary and benefits
2. Legal, audit, insurance, school board
3. Academic Contracted services
4. Tuition
5. Special Education
6. SAU
7. Enrichment
8. Educational supplies
9. Supplies
10. Professional Development
11. Building maintenance/ utilities
12. Transportation

Brief discussion ensued regarding whether all Blue School salary and benefits disappear without the school.  Answer was no, refinements to this point will be made later.

Toni Butterfield was asked to provide an itemized accounting of SAU expenses.

Both John and Toni stressed that budgets are estimates.  Specific tuition variations happen throughout the year.

Next meetings: July 8, 2025 at 7pm and possibly July 22, 2025 at 7pm. 
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.
