From the desk of Sandy Brackett, for the Friends in Council (FIC):

This beautiful quilt is machine wash and dry, made from 100% cotton. Those who worked on this year’s quilt are Jackie Taxter of Lyman and Jane Graham of Lisbon. Friends in Council Member Andrea Graham, owner of Sew Far North Quilting Studio in Littleton, donated the long arm quilting.

Over the years, the money raised by the sale of these quilt tickets has gone to benefit activities and projects in our local area. The Friends in Council, the area chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, have supported veterans at Christmas, Main Street Flower Palooza in Lisbon for their flower barrels, Good Shepard food pantry, residents at Lilac Inn through gift bags at Christmas, the music program at the Lisbon Regional School, the Healthy Snacks program at the Blue School in Landaff, the Boys & Girls Club in Lisbon, just to name a few!

This is a major fund raiser for this community minded Club so we THANK YOU in advance for your support by purchasing tickets through any Friends in Council member that you may happen to know, or through me (Sandy – email landaffledger@gmail.com) or contact Jackie or Jane! Or mail a check made out to Friends in Council and we will fill out your raffle tickets for you – Friend’s in Council, P.O. Box 92 , Lisbon, NH. 03585. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. The winner of this raffle will be chosen at the December 2026 FIC meeting.
