Landaff School Advisory Committee Minutes
September 23, 2025
Landaff Town Hall

Present: Brenda Dodge, John Barth, Deb Erb, Francie Kinney, Joe Wiggett, Sam Natti, Jamie Jarvis

Absent: Mary Beaudin

Public:  Karin Bradstreet, Molly Culver, Matt Culver, Jim and Julie Lapierre

Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm.

Public Input: None

Minutes: Motion to table 9/9 minutes by Francie Kinney, seconded by Sam Natti until the next meeting so Mary can make the following edits:  Bath rate increases at 5% each year, not COL.  The date needs to be changed to 9/9

Old Business: Survey is ready to launch.  We could not remember seeing any feedback from CJ or the SAU regarding the survey.  Jamie will send the survey from her email, discussion determined that Jamie was the best option and each committee member will have access to the results as it is a google form.  A motion was made by Sam Natti and seconded by Deb Erb for Jamie to send out the survey pending determination that there is no issue with her personal email being used for the survey.

The following motion was discussed for the committee recommendation: 

The committee moves, under option #4, to recommend that the town of Landaff continue the Landaff School Advisory Committee for another year so that we can get the vital information that is incomplete until after the Spring 2026 annual meetings.

Discussion ensued about presenting this recommendation to the school board.  The motion to recommend was made by Deb Erb and seconded by John Barth.  All members were in favor, the motion passed.

Discussion ensued regarding creating the presentation and the schedule.  The following dates were decided upon:

October 21 – Committee Work Session, 7pm @ Town Hall
November 6 – Board Pre-presentation, 530; work session following presentation; both @ Town Hall
November 2- work session TBD if needed
December 2 – Committee Work Session with public input, 7pm @ Town Hall
December 2- work session TBD if needed
January – TBD
February – TBD

Public Input: Karin Bradstreet commented that her grandson has had a great year so far at BVS.  She also suggested that information be sent out earlier so people have more notice.
