From the desk of Judy Boulet, Landaff Town Moderator:
Thank you to the Landaff Voters who came and voted, as well as those who attended the School and Town meetings in the evenings. We have over 300 registered voters and 81 of those people voted on Election Day.
Thank you to Sandy Bracket for posting the Election information in the Landaff Ledger and to Fran Day for sending me information to keep me up-to-date.
Thank you to the Select Board members Harry McGovern, Rachael Booth, and Mary Beaudin for their support and help throughout Election Day.
Thank you to the Landaff Blue School Board members Matt Copithorne, John Barth, and Michelle Beaudin for their help and support.
The team of Election Workers did an outstanding job of setting up the hall, working through the day and evening, and taking down election posters and booths. I would like to mention that the State of New Hampshire gave us a new printer and new tablet for the ONE4ALL Democracy Live voting tent. We didn’t get any takers on using
it this year, but when the waiting lines get long, we can always urge voters to use this means of voting. Just because it is a computer does not mean that your votes are sent to Concord or Washington DC! Everything stays “in house”. Anyone can use this new equipment.
Again, thank you to the Election workers. Many worked from 10:00am to 10:00pm.
Supervisors of the Checklist Jaye Michaelis, Nate Hamilton, and Becky McGovern; Ballot Clerks Dot Wiggins and Betsy Babcock;
Election Inspectors, as well as Select Board Members, Rachael Booth, Mary Beaudin, and Harry McGovern; Town Clerk Cathy Ferony and School Clerk Sara Campbell; and the ballot counting teams.
Thank you to the people of Landaff!
