There were friends and neighbors, food and fire fighters, an auction and raffles, music and ice cream!
But an event like this cannot be accomplished without TONS of volunteers willing to give of themselves for hours on end. Take a look at the memories below and when you see one of those wonderful volunteers or those not pictured, please give them a thank you for making it all possible.
Thanks go out to Chief Jason Cartwright and the entire Landaff Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Fighter’s Association for making this event possible. And to Julie LaPierre and Sue O’Hearn and the entire kitchen crew for a fabulous meal to include pie! It was a big success due in part to the tradition of the previous years and all their hard work. Two thumbs up to the Friends of Landaff for manning the booth that brings dollars to the ongoing Town Hall refurbishment.
And let’s not forget the community that spent their hard earned dollars on the auction items and the raffle and for donating so much food! Look for a separate post to follow on all the lucky raffle winners. And to the Grange, headed by Dick Bronson for organizing artifacts of interest in Town Hall and ice cream!
See you again next year for the same great tradition.
Thanks Sandy! A great time was had by all!
