Learning Focus:

Kindergarten has been working on the letter F this week. In math, they used number cards to practice numeral recognition, sequencing numbers, and matching sets and numerals. First graders found the arrow rule in Frames-and-Arrows problems to practice finding unknown numbers in addition and subtraction equations. Second Grade looked at three different strategies for subtraction. Third Grade developed the adding-a-group strategy for solving unknown multiplication facts.
