Learning Focus:

Kindergarten has been working on the letter D this week. In math, kindergarten played a game to practice number recognition and explore number relationships (greater, less). First graders discussed length as a measurable attribute and compare the lengths of objects both directly and indirectly. Second Grade learned to tell time to the nearest hour, half hour, and five minutes. Third Grade measured distances around objects to the nearest 1/2 inch, compare masses, and determine distances in half-inch increments.
