Learning Focus:

Kindergarten focused on the –ad word family this week. In math, they used string to compare their body heights to classroom objects and looked at the weights of different objects.  First Graders deepened their understanding of the relationship between addition and subtraction by learning about fact families. Second Grade were introduced to partial-sums addition. Third Grade estimated the number of dots in an array, measure liquid volume, and identify equal shares.
