Help Wanted. The Lisbon Tri-Town Transfer Station has an opening. Fred will be leaving in a couple of weeks. The Town of Lisbon is seeking a part-time Transfer Station Attendant to work up to 25 hours per week, and 40 hours per week when covering for vacations etc. This is a non-benefited position. The successful candidate should possess a New Hampshire Solid Waste Operators Certification or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment, possess a weighmaster license or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment. The candidate must have good communication skills. Must be able to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds, possess basic backhoe operation experience, be able to stand for long periods of time, keep recycling bins emptied. Must be able to use a cash register and do weekly financial reporting. Work hours will consist of Monday and Tuesday 7-3:30 and Wednesday 7-12 and coverage of vacations is required and some weekends will be required.
