ACT’s Mid-Week Hike

Take it Outside with ACT’s Mid-Week Morning Hike August 8th

EASTON – Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust (ACT) invites you to our next mid-week summer hike Wednesday, August 8th, at 10 a.m. Bring a friend and join us for a hike around your Cooley-Jericho Community Forest (CJCF). Spectacularly beautiful and rugged, with stunning views, the CJCF encompasses 840 acres in the northwest corner of Easton, sharing boundaries with Sugar Hill and Landaff.

After the walk, take a load off and get social with your fellow hikers. Bring a bag lunch to stay for an optional post-walk picnic. Registration for the hike is required – for your safety and enjoyment we must cap the walk at 15 participants so please be sure to pre-register ASAP. Be aware registration closes on Tuesday, August 7th. Once registered, you will receive an e-mail with details on the meeting location.

The summer nature walks are open to all ages and abilities. This walk is a loop, approximately 2.5 miles long with some mild elevation gains/losses. Kids are encouraged to come but please leave your pups at home.

This program is free and open to the public, with a suggested $5 donation to support ACT’s land conservation efforts.  Advanced registration is required.  Details and registration information are available at aconservationtrust.org/education-events or by calling Gal Potashnick (603) 823-7777.
