Kindergarten learned all about the letter R and the poem “We See Leaves.” In math, kindergarten wrote and represented numbers as they begin to make individual number books. First graders counted up and back on the number line to prepare for using it as a tool for adding and subtracting. Second Grade wrote subtraction number stories and generated related addition and subtraction facts. Third Grade used partial-sums addition to add 2‐ and 3‐digit numbers and were introduced to column addition.
