Kindergarten has been focused on the letter F this week. In math, kindergarten practiced numeral recognition, counting, and one-to-one correspondence. First graders were introduced to Frames-and-Arrows diagrams and solved problems within them that involved counting, addition, and subtraction. Second Grade used the going-up-through-10 strategy for subtraction. Third Grade learned about the turn-around rule for multiplication and discovered multiplication squares.
