Student of the Week! Thora

Kindergarten focused on the letter D this week and the poem I’m a Little Snowman. In math, kindergarten rolled dice and recorded rolls to practice counting and number writing and to explore probability informally. First graders discussed length as a measurable attribute and compared the lengths of objects both directly and indirectly. Second Grade told time using A.M. and P.M. and to the nearest hour, half hour, and 5 minutes.  Third Grade learned about the turn-around rule for multiplication and used all four operations to generate equivalent names for numbers.
