Winter Storm Warning

…WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FOR GRAFTON COUNTY UNTIL 7 PM EST WEDNESDAY…

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze expected.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST Wednesday. Mixed precipitation is expected to turn to snow Wednesday morning and continue into the early afternoon hours.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The snow may be heavy and wet Wednesday morning through at least early afternoon. Snowfall rates may briefly be in the 1 to 2 inch per hour range by late Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
