Kindergarten has been working on the letter C this week and the poem “Snowflakes.” In math, they used calculators to practice reading and recording numbers to represent objects. First graders found numbers that are 10 more and 10 less than a given number to support their work toward using place-value understanding to add and subtract. Second Grade applied properties of operations and other strategies to add three numbers. Third Grade identified and measured perimeters of rectangles and other polygons.
