Student of the Week! Tyler
Kindergarten has been working on the letter J, the sight word “see” and the nursery rhyme “The Queen of Hearts” this week. In math, they modeled addition concretely and symbolically through a game. First graders used tools, strategies, and properties of operations to solve number stories with two or three addends. Second Grade made ballpark estimates and invented and recorded their own strategies for solving addition problems. Third Grade explore the use of doubling to solve number stories involving area.
