Kindergarten has been working on the letter A, the sight word “was” and the nursery rhyme “Do You Know the Muffin Man” this week. First graders deepened their understanding of the relationship between addition and subtraction by learning about fact families. Second Grade solved an open response problem by applying place-value concepts and addition properties. Third Grade used the trade-first method to solve subtraction problems.
