Student of the Week: Payton

Kindergarten has been working on their letter sounds, the sight word “this” and the nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock” this week. In math they played a game to develop fluency with subtraction facts within 5 and explored counting as a way to measure and compare lengths of time. First graders applied a variety of strategies to add and subtract 2-digit numbers. Second Grade explored equal shares of different shapes, used pattern blocks to divide shapes, and made a number line. Third Grade used rulers to measure to the nearest ¹/4 inch.
