Student of the Week: Henry

Kindergarten has been working on their sight words and letter sounds and the nursery rhymes Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'”‘ this week. In math, they compared numbers and placed them in order from smallest (least) to largest (greatest). First graders reviewed place value. They applied their understanding of place value to solve number-grid puzzles. Second Grade skip counted and added to solve problems involving multiples of 10 and 5. Third Grade used mental steps to multiply problems involving larger factors.
