ACT’s ‘Shoes & Brews Visits Bretton Woods!

BETHLEHEM –  Are you looking to cure your cabin fever? Join the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust’s (ACT) March ‘Shoes & Brews at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center!  Come for a jaunt in the woods and some social time on Saturday, March 14th from 12:30 to 4 pm. We’ll start at 12:30 pm with a stroll along a lovely riverside trail then head to The Grille at the Nordic Center for a beverage or two and snacks from about 2:30 to 4 pm.

For the ‘Shoes the group, led by ACT staff and volunteers, will walk along the Ammonoosuc River then head up to Middle and Upper Falls. The walk is about 3 miles total with approx. 250 feet of elevation gain. Depending on snow conditions snowshoes may be required, trekking poles are optional. An email will go out the day before the event with details and directions to the meeting location.

The Brews, after the walk, will be in The Grille at the Nordic Center. Enjoy snacks, refreshments and each other’s company trailside. Come to catch up with old friends and get to know new ones. All are welcome and are free to come and go as needed.

ACT is excited to be partnering with Bretton Woods for the very first time on this ‘Shoes & Brews. A big thanks to them for hosting the event!

Registration for the ‘Shoes is required and is limited to 15 participants, please register ASAP as the hike will fill up quickly. Registration for the Brews is not required but is very much appreciated to help organizers plan accordingly. Registration closes at noon on Friday, March 13.
