A big THANK YOU to everyone who endured our multiple mud seasons this past “winter”!  I’m betting your patience was tested more than once, but we’re on the other side now!  I have my fingers crossed that the plows are where they are staying until November!

I’ve begun repairing the dirt roads and should have them all tuned up within the next couple of weeks if the weather cooperates.  Road bans have been pulled from Landaff roads and most of our neighbor’s roads, as well.  

I still have a pretty big pile of fill that’s free to a good home, so reach out if you are interested (landaffroadagent@gmail.com) or call the garage at 838-5221.  Also, I will be looking for places to dump ditchings throughout the summer, so if you would like some fill, get in touch.  It benefits everyone if it can be dumped close to where it is loaded!  I will try to accommodate all requests, considering the proximity of your location relative to our work. 

Allan (Boulet) and I have been busy organizing and cleaning the garage, maintaining and repairing the equipment, pothole patching, grading and raking, and general spring clean-up work as time allows.  It seems there is never enough time to get everything done, though!  

We have a busy spring/summer/fall planned, including some culverts to replace, miles of ditches to clean, tree canopy to trim, roadsides to mow, pavement shimming, adding gravel to some of the dirt roads and mid-summer we will be tackling the rebuild of Pearl Lake Road, in the area of Barrett Hill to about a half mile toward Cemetery Road.  This will be a pretty big project for us and it will likely take some time to accomplish.

Please be patient and take your time going through our work areas.  There will be delays, but we will make every effort to keep you moving the best we can!  Give a little toot of your horn if we don’t recognize that you are there and make eye contact before you proceed through.  Everyone’s safety is our primary goal!
