Landaff Roadside Cleanup Event
Saturday, May 16
9:00 am- 12:00 p.m.
Meet at Town Hall

The Landaff Conservation Commission is leading a roadside cleanup effort on Saturday, May 16. Residents and friends are encouraged to participate! Volunteers will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Town Hall before heading out to clean up local roadside areas. The event is expected to last until around noon.

To show appreciation for volunteers, the Friends of Landaff have donated prizes for those that fill the most bags during the event. Participants will also receive a History of Landaff book from the Town!

Volunteers are encouraged to wear bright-colored clothing, boots, gloves, long pants, and bug spray. A picker will also come in handy. There should be enough blue cleanup bags to go around, but people are encouraged to bring any bags they already have.

Note that if you would like to contribute but are unable to join on the 16th, free blue bags are available in limited quantity during open hours at Landaff Town Hall and at the Lisbon transfer station. If you fill a blue bag within the next few weeks and need assistance with disposal, please leave it roadside and contact our road agent, Jeff Nute, who has offered to help (603-838-5221; landaffroadagent@gmail.com). Blue bags are also accepted at the Landaff highway garage and Lisbon transfer station, free of charge.

Please contact Drew if you have any questions about the May 16 event (aryoungs11@gmail.com). Thanks in advance for helping keep Landaff clean and beautiful!
