Get Ready to Celebrate Landaff Old Home Day – August 15th, 2026!

Dear Landaff Neighbors.

Mark your calendars! Our cherished community tradition, Landaff Old Home Day, is just around the corner on Saturday, August 15th. It’s a day for fun, food, and community spirit, with proceeds supporting vital local organizations.

We have a fantastic day planned for all ages at the Landaff Town Center. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Schedule of Events
· 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Auction Preview & Registration
· 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Live Auction! (5% rebate at checkout for attendees under the age of 30!)
· 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Concession Stand (Featuring famous Landaff Donuts!)
· 9:00 AM onwards: Kids’ Activities (Bounce house, games & more!)
· 4:30 PM & 6:00 PM: Community Supper Seatings
· 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Live Music by the Parker Hill Rd Band

Support Your Volunteer Firefighters – Please Donate items to the Auction!
Our annual auction is the primary fundraiser for the Landaff Volunteer Fire Association (LVFA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that purchases essential tools and equipment for our firefighters. As one of the last truly all-volunteer fire companies in the area, your support directly helps our neighbors in need.

We are seeking quality, tax-deductible donations of:
· Antiques & Furniture
· Musical Instruments & Art
· Tools & Crafts
· Maple Syrup & Baked Goods
· Vehicles/Boats or Business Services, Etc. – Anything you think will sell!

Enjoy a Delicious Supper
This year’s annual supper benefits the LVFA. Landaff’s own BBQ specialist, Mark McGuire, will be smoking pulled pork and brisket all day long. The meal will be rounded out with delicious salads, sides, and homemade pies for dessert.
· Seatings: 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM
· Cost: $15 for adults, $5 for children (4-12)
· Takeout: Available with prior reservation.

*The Landaff Fire Department is one of the last truly all volunteer fire companies in the area. Most departments are “paid on call”, their members are paid a stipend for training and responding to calls. Here in Landaff, we are neighbors helping neighbors. We have 15 active members, and are funded by donations, grants, and local tax dollars. We strive hard to watch our spending and not increase the tax burden on the residents of Landaff. The Landaff Volunteer Fire Association (LVFA) is our department’s 501(3)c non-profit organization (EIN#: 36-4757673). Our mission is to raise the funds needed to purchase tools and equipment for our department. This past year, the LVFA has funded new storage containers which will help with safe storage and better organization, and a 4-gas meter allowing us to be prepared to test for more gases on calls. There is also a scholarship for Landaff students funded by the LVFA.
