Hello all!

I want you to know that we have some paving coming up that might inconvenience a few of you.  Starting Wednesday, September 9th, Ammonoosuc Asphalt will be in town putting down new pavement. 

All is weather pending, of course, but Gale Chandler Road is first.  Two sections, one from Moses Clark Road up to the Ireland School, and the other is from Mill Brook Road to a little before Lobdell’s tree farm.  Both address areas where the road was washed out during the major rainstorm two years ago and general rehab.

Mill Brook Road will follow, likely starting the same day, and finishing the next.  We will be “spot shimming” seriously deformed areas (similar to what we accomplished three years ago).  Work will begin near the Center Hill Road intersection and end by Cavanaugh’s.

We will then jump to Pearl Lake Road, starting at the beginning of the rebuilt section and working back towards Cemetery Road until the funds run out.  This should wrap up on Friday, the 11th.

Rain will delay operations and we will get back at it on the next good day.

If you can avoid these areas during this project, it would be a huge help, and it might save you substantial delays.  However, be assured that we will do our best to get you through as quickly as we can. Be very cautious and aware, as there are guys stepping out behind trucks and equipment all the time in this type of operation.
