Breaking news: Just an hour or so ago, the Brick Store in Bath was purchased at foreclosure auction by Scott and Becky Mitchell of Hudson, NH. The Mitchells own a large parcel in Landaff, which includes the big field across from the Foggy Bottom Alpaca farm on Merrill Mountain Road and runs all the way to Chandler Pond.

They announced that they intended to reopen the store.
