National Public Works Week

Excerpt from Meghan Theriault, P.E. Director of Public Works Gilford;

“It is National Public Works Week (May 17 – 23)! This is a great time to communicate with your Select Board and communities about all the essential services that public works men and women provide their communities.

This year is a little tough with the coronavirus and many of us cannot hold the usual public events that we would like to, but it’s still important to get the word out there about the hard work that your crews are doing every day.

Special shout outs to all of you for your hard work that often goes unappreciated by the public. ” ” I know how hard you are all working behind the scenes to make it all happen.”

  1. Many, many thanks to Andy and Tom for all their hard work…plowing on those cold snowy early mornings and late nights; removing downed trees to make the roads passable; playing in the mud during mud season….the list is endless! Please know you are appreciated. I’m sure I speak for all us Landaffians!!
