Richard aka ‘Noah’ Bronson needs some Landaff Love
I am sad just writing this, but feel the need to. After speaking to Richard today in the hospital and his wife Angie, I have decided to post this thought;
Richard Bronson has done a whole lot for Landaff, I would like to do something in return. As small as this initial gesture is, I am collecting Get Well- Valentines- Thinking of You types of cards that will brighten his gloomy days ahead. As most of you know, Richard fell ill with a stroke a week ago. He has been in Lancaster Hospital until today. He is being relocated today to Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital, 254 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301, where he will undergo his rehab.
To collect as many cards as possible, I have placed an aluminum can at the end of my driveway at 108 Center Hill Rd with his name on it. Please feel free to drop a card in the can (place cover back on tight to keep it weather proof). This will save you postage and will ensure he gets your well wishes But more than anything, we want him to have a great big stack of cards to let him know we are all rooting for him. So if this is more convenient for you, we look forward to your ‘cards in the can’ by Friday of this week, February 16th. We will hand deliver this special package to him this weekend.
Sandy, I sent a note to you for Richard Bronson, we are in Savannah and cannot reach the aluminum can. Can you print out the note and put it in the can? Sigmund

Sigmund, where did you sent the note? By mail to our home or to the landaffledger email so I know where to look for it by Friday? Thanks again

Sandy, let’s see which of us gets my reply. Cards in a can is a lovely idea, and we have one all ready.
Angie can also use help —keeping firewood by her door for the wood stove, (from the woodpile under the tarp) — driving her to Concord from time to time —easy meals, either to eat in Landaff or to take as sack lunches when she goes South to visit him. Which I gather she wants to do daily or close to it. Also he loves home baked stuff which could be provided to her to take along.
So if anyone asks you what they need that is what Angie told me a couple of days ago. Her needs and his may change, but those are the things she mentioned the other day. Florence

Sandy, what a great idea! We dropped a card for Richard off at Cheryl’s House this am …
So glad to hear he will be at Healthsouth for rehab… I have offered to drive Angie to see him as she will not drive that distance and is not familiar with Concord whereas I know the place …I am sure others will also offer if they realize there is a need… Best Carol and Don
